FENECH SOLER ***As Part of Stealth Vs Rescued! Clubnight***

North East Northamptonshire is an area the word 'stasis ' was invented for. Comfortable doesnt quite do justice to the dulling familiarity of the rumbling 4x4 engine on its way to IKEA on Bank Holiday weekend. Aside from the Gilbert & Sullivan society, the local music scene lies stagnant; independent record shops, nightclubs and plausible gig venues lie over the hills and far away in the exotic cultural oasis of northern Cambridgeshire.
Armed with a laptop computer, stand Dan Soler and the brothers Ben and Ross Duffy the trio which make up the electro pop Fenech Soler. Dan and Ross have just turned 18, and the enthusiasm of youth extends into the bands ambition. The music itself is crisp and individual the passion for perfection fully evident in the flawless production yet the ethos is strictly DIY. The quality of their demo belies the home made simplicity of the recording process; even the minimalist, spray painted CD design is the work of the band.
Fenech Soler have already begun to inject the tedious vacuum of their homeland with some energy, creating their own nights and establishing a considerable following. The task now for the band is to bring their music to a wider audience... it demands your attention!
